Grammarly for writting improvements ( tutorial week 12)

 

Grammarly for imrpve writting !

        Writing a blog is common among the students as it is one of the skill that would help them in the future.  As an Ipg student myself, I also need to write a blog as a tasks and tutorials.  Thinking about it, I would like to share about my first blog that I struggle a lot in order to do it. My AI app that I have been using to help me in writing blog entry is Grammarly. Grammarly is a popular tool for improving writing skills.  According to (Tira Nur Fitria, 2021), Grammarly is an website that can be accessed on https://www.grammarly.com/ . It locates grammar, spelling, punctuation, and other errors in students writing. Using Grammarly, the users can simply check their grammar whether it is correct or wrong. Before I started using Grammarly, I can not write well because there is some words that I did not know its tenses and so on but using this Ai app, it helps me a lot to in writing. It will change my grammatically wrong words and replace it with the correct so I do not need to worry about my essays anymore.  Fact that it works really well shocked me when I first time try it. It is not only tell me if my grammar is wrong but it also offers suggestions for corrections and improvements. For me, it uses advanced algorithms to provide real-time feedback as users type, helping me and other the users catch the mistakes fastly.

        How does it works? To use this application, first, the users must be login into this website by using their email. Then, the users upload their assignment and next they will see two scores. The first score is based on a percentage of accuracy, and the second is the total errors that the program has found. Grammarly organizes the errors according to six categories: contextual spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, style, and vocabulary enhancement (Kesi Fitriana & Laeli Nurazni, 2022).  In addition,  Grammarly reducing the errors made by the students in terms of grammar, vocabulary usages, and mechanics which is spelling and punctuation (Muhammad Ali Ghufron & Fathia Rosyida, 2018).  It will analyzed the writing essays or sentences and provide suggestions. By using Grammarly, the users can learn a lot from their mistakes and improve their own writing skills in the future.  With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive features, Grammarly is a valuable tool for students, professionals, and anyone looking to enchance their writing. Grammarly is also suitable for each person who their first language is not English. As we know, a non-english speaker face difficulty to communicate in english and of course they struggle a lot to write in english too. So, this software would easily help them.

        I am gladly want to share some tips in order to use this tool. The users should write first the essays anywhere like in docx, words or in note. Then, just copy the whole essays and paste it in Grammarly software so it can save time than write down one by one words directly in Grammarly software.

        In additional, there are two types of Grammarly: premium and free. The two types are differentiated based on the payment per month or year (Kesi Fitriana & Laeli Nurazni, 2022). Grammarly Premium is an automated proofreading system that can identify errors related to 250 grammar rules . However, the basic Grammarly has fewer features than the premium one, but the basic one is also worth for whoever did not have enough money to subscribe the premium Grammarly.

        To sum up, Grammarly is really worth as everyone should try it to change and improve their skill in writing.
