Week 14 : Tutorial

Experience in using AI

In this modern era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is widely used by people to help them solve the problems in order to get a perfect result they want. AI has been described by certain approaches in relation to human intelligence, or intelligence in general (Joint Research Centre, 2020).  From another perspective, Artificial intelligence concerned with making computers behave like humans more human like fashion and in much less time than a human takes so is called as Artificial Intelligence (Ku. Chhaya A. Khanzode & Ravindra D. Sarode, 2020).  Based on what I understand, AI can be described as computer software that runs and finds solutions like humans but takes less time.

Everyone has been using AI since it is really helpful included me.  An AI that I use a lot is ChatGPT. ChatGPT is a recently developed conversational chatbot created by OpenAI (Chung Kawan Lo, 2023).  ChatGPT is easy to use since it uses natural language like a human respond in each questions given by the instructors or the users.  I habitually use ChatGPT whenever I  running out of idea to complete my assignments and tutorial tasks as it give me an information from various sources.  Apart from that, there is a thing that I do not like about this AI engine and that is I have to pay to ask a lot of questions in a time.

Furthermore, I have been using Canva a lot.  I started using Canva since I entered IPG that before this I do not even know about this AI tool.  Canva is a generator that help the users to design the presentations, videos, timetables, posters and et cetera.  I really love to use Canva because it provides such a variety of designs and fonts.  The users can also insert an images and videos.  What I want to tell here is that, this AI tool is complete and suitable especially for students who are this struggling to make a presentation slides.  In addition, Canva is also ask for a pay to whoever desire to try Canva Pro which is provide more fascinating and magnificent tools. I really find this AI tool is very difficult to use at first but as I practice on how to insert pictures, search for suitable design based on the topic tasks and so on, I realise that this AI tool is absolutely easy to use.  Apart of figuring out myself, I also ask a few of my friends that had an experience this using this AI tool.

Lastly, I also use Turnitin a lot recently.  Turnitin is software that identifies the matched material by checking the electronically submitted documents against its database of academic publications, internet, and previously submitted documents (Sultan A. Meo & Muhammad Talha, 2019).  It really help the students like me in order to complete my assignments perfectly.  As a short, it can help me to find the similarity index and plagiarism so I could change the essay content before I submit it to the lecturers. But, in order to use Turnitin, I had to buy the slot first in Shopee for about RM 5 for life span.

In conclusion, I really hope the used of AI in our country can be expanded widely and can be use in all aspect nicely included education, economy, financial and religion.
